Amanda McGrady Morrison, Regina Sam Penti Honored as “Top Women of Law”

Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly will honor Amanda McGrady Morrison and Regina Sam Penti as “Top Women of Law.” The award “celebrates the achievements of exceptional women lawyers who are pioneers, educators, trailblazers and role models.” Both Amanda and Regina are being recognized for exceptional leadership, excellence in their respective practices, their deep commitment to advancing the careers of women lawyers both within and outside the firm.  

Over the past two decades, Amanda has earned a reputation as among the best lawyers for private equity and M&A, regularly representing clients on deals ranging from $100 million to more than $1 billion. In the last year alone, she handled several multibillion-dollar matters for well-known industry clients. Amanda co-chairs Ropes & Gray’s 600-member global Women’s Forum. She has been a driving force behind many of the innovative initiatives implemented over several years to empower women in the law.

Regina, one of the nation’s top intellectual property transactions attorneys, who practices from Boston and London, has steered complex IP issues in multi-billion-dollar strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases, joint ventures and licensing of technology and data. Among many leadership positions she holds, Regina co-chairs the firm’s diversity committee, where she leads a firm-wide strategy for advancing inclusive polices that enhance opportunities for women, LGBTQ+ and racially and ethnically diverse attorneys and business support teams.
