Financial Times honored Ropes & Gray with the publication’s top honor for guiding clients through the COVID-19 pandemic, citing our “leading health care practice”. Critical to our COVID-19 work, the FT highlighted that Ropes & Gray’s deep industry expertise and market understanding was critical to guiding myriad clients in an exceptional year. For its COVID-19 work, the firm has won nearly every legal industry health care award in 2020, including being named “Law Firm of the Year” for “Health Care” by U.S. News-Best Lawyers, and “Health Care Group of the Year” by Law360 in 2020 and also 2019.

The Financial Times report also singled out the firm’s innovative R&G Insights Lab, launched this summer. R&G Insights Lab is our full-service legal consulting group and the industry’s first analytics and behavioral science offering. For her leadership of this work, Financial Times named Amanda Raad one of the top ten most innovative individual practitioners for co-leading the lab with Zach Coseglia.

Chair Julie Jones was named one of the five “Most Innovative Law Firm Leaders” in North America; the Financial Times says, “she could not have predicted the drastic changes through which she would start steering the firm almost straightaway” upon becoming chair in January 2020.
