Cristine Pirro Schwarzman Named an “Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyer” by Turnarounds & Workouts
Business Restructuring Partner Cristine Pirro Schwarzman has been named an “Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyer” by Turnarounds & Workouts. She is among 12 attorneys under the age of 40 recognized for their exceptional work advising clients on corporate restructurings and bankruptcies.
Cristine was recognized for her many accomplishments representing debtors, lenders, private equity sponsors and investors in out-of-court restructurings and chapter 11 cases.
Since the beginning of 2020, Cristi represented debtors or sponsors in the chapter 11 cases of Centric Brands Inc., Rubio’s Restaurants Inc., Alamo Drafthouse and VIP Cinema Seating. She also consummated numerous out-of-court restructurings for companies or sponsors, including Toms Shoes, the popular footwear manufacturer. During this extraordinarily challenging year, Cristi also advised boards and senior managements of distressed companies on the many acute and often uncommon fiduciary and corporate governance issues to emerge as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Recognition from Turnarounds & Workouts follows Cristi’s inclusion in the American Bankruptcy Institute’s 40 Under 40 awards, Private Debt Investor’s Rising Stars for 2020 and the Global M&A Network’s Top U.S.A. Women Dealmakers of 2020.
