The Daily Journal named IP litigation partner David Chun (Silicon Valley) to its 2021 list of “Top Trade Secrets Lawyers in California.” The list profiles lawyers based on their work on recent significant cases that had an impact on the larger world of trade secrets or the development of law.
David has achieved successful results for industry-leading companies in trade secret cases across a broad range of industries, including Samsung Electronics, SAP, Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals, among others.
David was part of the team that opened Ropes & Gray’s Seoul office. The office was the first foreign law firm ever registered in South Korea in 2012. David worked in Seoul from 2011 to 2016. He still sits on the board of directors of the Korean Intellectual Property Lawyers Association.
