Emily Oldshue Named One of The American Lawyer’s "Dealmakers of the Year"

The American Lawyer named Emily Oldshue to the publication’s “Dealmakers of the Year” list, which honors outstanding corporate attorneys who excelled in guiding noteworthy corporate transactions to a successful close in 2022.

Emily built a team of more than 100 Ropes & Gray attorneys advising Pfizer in its $11.6 billion acquisition of Biohaven Pharmaceuticals. The transaction featured a pre-closing public spinoff and required innovative thinking to negotiate a unique royalty payment stream. The American Lawyer describes the work as complex, recognizing Emily for leading a team across practices including M&A, restructuring, capital markets, licensing, regulatory, litigation and enforcement.
