The Daily Journal named Silicon Valley IP litigation partners Andrew Thomases, Jim Batchelder and Jim Davis as 2023 “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers” in California. They were each profiled in Daily Journal feature articles on May17.
Andrew was recognized for generating favorable results for clients such as Exactech, Roku and Extreme Networks. Andrew led the team that achieved a positive settlement for TPG portfolio company Exactech in multifaceted litigation against Zimmer Biomet.
Jim Batchelder was named for his success representing Emerson Electric in a series of wins in a long-running international 12-patent litigation dispute against SIPCO concerning Emerson’s Smart Wireless products. In addition, Jim also served as lead counsel for Emerson Electric in litigation filed by Emerson Quiet Kool in the District of Delaware.
Jim Davis was honored for the fifth consecutive year for his accomplishments, including his work for Samsung Electronics and SAP, and successfully representing Emerson Electric in multiple wins across jurisdictions in a 12-patent litigation against SIPCO.
