Daniel Altshuller joined Ropes and Gray’s corporate department in 2022.
While at Boston University School of Law, Daniel worked as a legal intern for a major sports betting company in Boston. Daniel also served as treasurer for the Business Law Society and was Sports Law Chair for the Communication, Entertainment, and Sports Law Association. Prior to law school, Daniel worked as a professional hockey player in the United States and Canada.
Experience
- Represented Eversource Energy (NYSE: ES) in its agreement to sell its 50% interest in its offshore wind development lease joint venture with Ørsted, to Ørsted for $625 million.
- Represented the sales agents in Ellington Financial Inc.’s $376 million and $100 million ATM offerings.
- Represented the underwriters in New Mountain Finance Corporation’s $300 million bond offering.
- Represented Ecovyst Inc., a specialty chemical provider to markets around the world, in its $114.3 million, $158.6 million and $175.2 million secondary equity offerings.
- Advises Sequoia Capital on Exchange Act compliance, including Section 13(d), Section 13(g), Form 3 and Form 4.
