Emerson is an associate practicing in Ropes & Gray’s debt finance group. Emerson primarily represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a wide range of large cap and middle market financing transactions. Separate from his time at Ropes & Gray, Emerson spent two years working as an investment banking associate in the corporate lending group of a bulge bracket investment bank, where he gained firsthand transactional experience allowing him to offer clients unique insight into the lifecycle of the debt finance process.
Experience
- Represented Audax Group in obtaining debt financing for various platform and add-on acquisitions, including a global manufacturer of application controls and systems and a premier provider of wireless connectivity solutions.
- Represented Entertainment Partners, a TPG Capital portfolio company, in obtaining syndicated credit facilities in connection with refinancing its existing credit facility.
- Represented Charlesbank Capital Partners in obtaining debt financing for its acquisition of Empire Today.
- Represented Charlesbank Capital Partners in obtaining debt financing for its acquisition of Box Partners.
- Represented Altamont Capital Management in obtaining debt financing for its acquisition of Specialized Packaging Group.
