Nina Alessi joined Ropes & Gray’s New York office and business restructuring practice group in 2025.
Prior to joining the firm, Nina earned her juris doctor from Boston College Law School and graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in legal studies and political science, as well as a minor in criminal justice. At Boston College Law School, Nina served as an executive editor of the Uniform Commercial Code, Report-Digest and the President of the Board of Student Advisors. Nina was also a law practice teaching assistant.
Experience
- Represented Inotiv, Inc. and its affiliated debtors in their prepackaged chapter 11 cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. Inotiv is a contract research organization headquartered in West Lafayette, Indiana. Inotiv provides nonclinical and analytical drug discovery and development services and supplies research models and related products to customers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. Inotiv entered bankruptcy with a Restructuring Support Agreement that carries broad creditor support and provides for a comprehensive financial restructuring that reduces prepetition debt by approximately $325.4 million and leaves general unsecured creditors unimpaired.
