Austin joined the firm in 2021 as an associate in the corporate department, where he has worked on a broad variety of commercial transactions and corporate governance matters. His practice focuses on intellectual property and technology transactions, advising clients on intellectual property and technology matters relating to strategic transactions, technology licensing, and other commercial transactions.

Austin also advises clients on corporate governance matters, including venture financing and ongoing corporate matters for emerging companies, securities law and reporting obligations for public companies, and various corporate social responsibility and human rights matters.  

Prior to joining the firm, Austin clerked for the Honorable Collins J. Seitz, Jr. of the Delaware Supreme Court. During law school, Austin was a student attorney for the Cyberlaw Clinic and an active member with the Harvard Mediation Program.
