Catherine Beal joined Ropes & Gray’s tax, employment and benefits department in 2025. Catherine graduated magna cum laude from American University Washington College of Law. During law school, Catherine served as a member of the American University Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law and was a research assistant.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Catherine worked in government affairs supporting municipal tax, infrastructure, economic development, and fiscal sustainability priorities.
