Christopher Boyd joined Ropes & Gray in 2024 as an associate in the firm’s employment, executive compensation and employee benefits group. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, he worked as an executive compensation and employee benefits consultant with a multinational public accounting firm.

Christopher advises private and public company clients on executive compensation and employee benefits as they relate to corporate transactions, including reorganizations, acquisitions, mergers, and dispositions.

  • Advised a private technology company on 409A compliance issues, including an analysis of whether granted equity was operationally and administratively compliant.
  • Advised an international health and human services technology company on term sheet language regarding 409A compliance in granting options to U.S. employees.
