Grace Baer is an associate in the corporate department of Ropes & Gray. Grace received her JD from American University Washington College of Law and her bachelor’s degree from UCLA.
In law school, Grace was a Contract Law Dean’s Fellow, a note and comment editor for the American University Business Law Review, and a student attorney in the Community Economic and Equity Development Clinic. In 2024, she and a teammate won the ABA M&A Committee National Invitational, and at graduation, Grace received The Business Law Review Award in recognition of her student publication.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Grace worked as a legal intern at The Chefs' Warehouse and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Corporation Finance. Before attending law school, she also worked as a paralegal in another law firm.
