Kacie Brinkman is an associate in the litigation and enforcement practice group. Kacie focuses her practice primarily on civil litigation and government enforcement matters. Kacie has experience representing a variety of clients, including educational institutions and hospital systems, private equity and investment firms, global pharmaceutical companies, and other corporate clients, in civil litigation matters. She also has experience representing healthcare clients in government investigations and enforcement actions involving the False Claims Act and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Kacie also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in a variety of matters ranging from criminal defense and civil suits to asylum and other immigration-related claims. While in law school, Kacie was an editor for the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology and worked for the Civil Rights Clinic in the MacArthur Justice Center at Northwestern.
