Luke Bittar is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s private funds group in the San Francisco office. He advises fund sponsors, private equity funds, hedge funds, and other private investment vehicles on a broad range of matters, including fundraising, fund structuring, operations, and regulatory compliance. Luke has experience across a variety of investment strategies, including private equity, real estate, and credit. He has also worked on continuation fund transactions and counsels institutional investors on their investments in private funds.

During law school, Luke served as an articles editor for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and was a teaching fellow for Professor Jeffery Zhang. He also interned in the Financial Law and Lender Oversight Department at the U.S. Small Business Administration, where he gained experience with regulatory and compliance matters affecting lenders and small businesses.
