Meghan Batstone serves as Ropes & Gray's chief human resources officer, where she leads the development and execution of the firm's competitive people and talent strategy. With more than 20 years of experience in human resources and law firm management, Meghan brings deep expertise in change management, organizational design and ensuring that human resources priorities directly accelerate business objectives. Throughout her career, she has successfully guided firms through periods of rapid expansion, delivering talent strategies for global firms as they entered new markets.
In her role at Ropes & Gray, Meghan oversees a broad portfolio that includes firmwide HR systems, operations, total rewards, employee relations, engagement, and pro bono initiatives, as well as business support professional development, talent acquisition, and training. Meghan focuses on building scalable, inclusive work cultures that support sustainable growth across all offices.
She reports to the chief operating officer and is a member of the support leadership team.
She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
