Sam Buckmelter joined Ropes & Gray’s tax, employment, and benefits department in 2025. Sam earned his J.D. and LL.M. from Boston University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and received an Academic Achievement Award for Highest Cumulative GPA in the Graduate Tax Program. During law school, Sam worked for the IRS Office of Chief Counsel.
