Shayaan Borok is a business restructuring associate in the Ropes & Gray New York office. Her practice focuses on all aspects of corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, and insolvency proceedings.
Prior to joining the firm, Shayaan graduated from King’s College London with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Honours and Master of Laws (LLM) in International Business Law. She was awarded a distinction for her dissertation on International Investment Law and Policy. Shayaan also earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial and Corporate Legal Practice from The University of Law, London.
During her time at King’s College London, Shayaan volunteered as a legal advisor in the University’s Pro Bono Law Clinic. Whilst studying at The University of Law, London, she worked alongside an immigration and asylum barrister at Garden Court Chambers.
