Alex Cestari joined Ropes & Gray’s Boston office in 2025 and practices in the capital markets group.
During law school, Alex served as a note editor of the Boston University School of Law Journal of Science & Technology Law. He interned for the Honorable Sandra Sciortino and the Honorable Craig Stephen Brown of the New York Supreme Court. Alex was a legal intern for Santander Bank, Boston University Office of the General Counsel and the Conservation Law Foundation.
Experience
- Represented Amsted Industries, a manufacturer of highly engineered industrial components, in its $250 million add-on senior unsecured bond offering of 6.375% notes due March 15, 2033.
- Represented the initial purchasers in Blue Owl Credit Income Corp.’s $1 billion bond offering consisting of two tranches: $700 million of 6.250% notes due 2029 and $300 million of 6.550% notes due 2031.
- Represented LifeStance Health in multiple secondary offerings by certain selling stockholders.
- Represented Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc., a neuroscience-focused biopharmaceutical company, in its upsized $747.5 million underwritten public offering of common shares and pre-funded warrants.
- Represented the underwriters in numerous 144A bond offerings for Blackstone Private Credit Fund.
