Josh Cohn is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s private equity group. Josh represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a wide range of complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, leveraged buyouts, carve-outs, corporate restructurings, recapitalizations, minority investments, co-investments and other equity investment transactions. Josh has experience across several industries, including technology, software, health care, defense, sports, consumer products, and industrials, and regularly advises clients on general corporate and governance matters.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Josh was a mergers & acquisitions associate in the New York office of another international law firm and practiced corporate law in the Tel-Aviv office of a major Israeli law firm, focusing on cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
