Katherine Chung joined Ropes & Gray’s litigation and enforcement practice group in 2023 and works in the New York office.
Prior to joining the firm, Katherine attended and graduated from St. John’s University School of Law. During law school, Katherine interned for Judge Nelson S. Román in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, where she conducted legal research and drafted bench memoranda and opinions on pending civil cases. She also served as an articles editor for the St. John’s Law Review, where she edited student-written notes. Katherine also served as a teaching assistant for legal writing and legal research. Katherine interned for the St. John’s Consumer Justice for the Elderly Litigation Clinic, where she represented low-income, elderly Queens residents in cases involving home improvement contractor fraud, debt collection, and other consumer matters.
