Raj focuses his practice on high-tech patent litigation by applying his background in electrical engineering. He has particular experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, wireless networking, telecommunications, semiconductors, autonomous vehicles, image processing, and optics.

While attending law school, Raj worked as a law clerk at another global law firm, where he helped litigate cases before the U.S. District Courts and the Patent Trial & Appeal Board (PTAB) in connection with inter partes review (IPR) and ex parte reexaminations.

As a patent attorney and former Supervisory Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), Raj speaks the language of inventors and engineers. During his time at the USPTO, he led a team of patent examiners, taught at the Patent Training Academy, and examined special cases that posed difficult procedural and technical challenges. His contribution to the agency’s mission was recognized with the USPTO’s Leadership-In-Action Award and the Bronze Medal Award for outstanding performance. Raj started his career serving in the U.S. Army as an electronics specialist and linguist.
