Alexander Deckler joined the asset management group of Ropes & Gray in 2026. Alexander regularly represents investment advisers in connection with various transactional, fundraising, structuring, governance, operations, regulatory, and compliance matters. He advises private fund sponsors in relation to credit funds, buyout funds, hedge funds, infrastructure funds and venture funds as well as co-investment vehicles.
During law school, Alexander was a staff editor of the Columbia Journal of Tax Law.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray in 2026, Alexander was an associate in the New York office of another global law firm.
