Ananda de Almeida joined Ropes & Gray’s litigation and enforcement practice group in the Washington, D.C. office in 2024.

Ananda earned her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, where she was actively involved in the Civil and Human Rights Clinic. In this role, she worked on public policy initiatives aimed at advancing freedom of speech in Pakistan. Ananda also interned at the Department of Homeland Security and externed for The Honorable Judge Laura Cordero at the District of Columbia Superior Court.

Ananda graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s in psychology in 2019.
