Cooper joined Ropes & Gray’s asset management practice in 2024. During law school, Cooper worked as a senior associate on the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association’s (SIFMA) advocacy team and prior to that, as a legislative correspondent for U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen on the Senator’s banking and financial services portfolio. Additionally, Cooper interned in the Investment Company Institute’s (ICI) General Counsel’s Office and the SEC Division of Investment Management’s Chief Counsel’s Office.
Before law school, Cooper worked in the U.S. Senate and on a statewide campaign in the 2016 election cycle.
