Jean is an investment funds lawyer focused on fund formation for regulated and unregulated vehicles. He advises private equity sponsors on fund and tax structuring, fundraising, carried interest arrangements with a particular focus on private equity, private debt, real estate, private credit, infrastructure, and funds of funds.
On the investor side, he maintains a significant LP practice, advising institutional investors and family offices with respect to their investments in private investment funds and co-investment vehicles.
Separately, Jean is also active in all tax aspects and notably involved in M&A transaction for listed and non-listed companies, including LBOs, project finance and capital markets.

- Represented Infranity on the launch and fundraise of its enhanced return debt fund.*

- Advised a major US Bank on the on the set-up of its first ELTIF focusing on multi-assets including real estate, debt, and private equity.*
- Advised a leading French bank on the acquisition of the European asset servicing activities of another leading international bank.*
- Advised a German insurance company on the establishment of its first French ELTIF designed to French insurance companies.*
- Regular advice to institutional investors in connection with their investment into private investment funds and their co-investment vehicles.*
