Kayla Duffey is counsel in our asset management group, where she advises private funds including co-investments, secondary transactions, regulatory, and other corporate matters; and works with various fund types including buyout, hedge, venture, credit, and real estate.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Kayla was an investment funds partner at another global law firm, where she led investment advisers, funds-of-funds, credit and distressed funds, real estate funds, private equity funds and venture capital funds through a wide range of structuring, formation, operation, transactional and regulatory matters. Kayla also advises on separately managed accounts, funds-of-one, joint ventures, co-investment vehicles, seed investments and secondary transactions.
