Vidaur advises non-profit health systems, hospitals, physician practices, health care technology companies, medical device distributors, and health care investors on an array of transactional and regulatory matters.
Vidaur’s work focuses on strategic transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, affiliations, joint ventures, physician alignment strategies, restructurings, value-based care arrangements, and related transactions, as well as advising clients on corporate formation and governance issues. Vidaur also assists clients with navigating a broad range of complex healthcare regulatory matters, such as the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, corporate practice of medicine, scope of practice and licensing, and telehealth laws. Vidaur is dedicated to community service, regularly serving as a mentor to law and undergraduate students and maintaining a robust pro bono practice.
The son of Mexican immigrants from Sonora, Vidaur is a native Spanish speaker. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and later earned his J.D. at UCLA School of Law, where he was an editor on the UCLA Law Review, served as a research assistant to Professor Scott L. Cummings, and was actively involved in the Latinx Law Students Association.
