Alexandra Elphick joined the Ropes & Gray finance group in London in 2024. Prior to joining the firm, Alexandra was completing her LL.M. degree focusing on business law at Duke University School of Law. During her LL.M., Alexandra interned at the Duke Asset Management Office as part of the legal team and was a member of the Business Law and Competition Law committees. Alexandra has earned an LL.B and a B.Com. from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
Experience
- Advised Goldman Sachs, Jefferies and Mizuho on all the financing elements of Outbrain’s acquisition of Teads, which consisted of a $625 million funded bridge facility, a $100 million revolving credit facility, and issuance of $637.5 million of 10.000% senior secured notes due 2030, which was used to refinance the bridge facility.
