Oceania Eshraghi joined Ropes & Gray in 2025 and practices in the corporate department.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Oceania served as an advanced clinical student in the Harvard Law International Human Rights Clinic. Oceania also served as a student attorney for the Harvard Law Prisoner Legal Assistance Project, where she represented incarcerated clients at disciplinary and parole hearings before the Massachusetts Parole Board.
Experience
- Represented Dragoneer Investment Group as part of a consortium (including Dragoneer, its portfolio company Amwins Group, and KKR) in an agreement to acquire Steadfast Group, Australia's largest general insurance broker network, for AUD$7.7 billion (US$5.52 billion).
- Represented Lone View Capital in its investment in HappyCo, a property operations platform for multifamily housing.
- Represented Kohlberg & Company in its acquisition of a majority interest in Advanced Industrial Devices, a provider of highly engineered automation and control solutions to mission-critical infrastructure, from Black Bay Partners.
- Advised Johnson & Johnson in its agreement to acquire Firefly Bio and its novel degrader-antibody conjugate (DAC) platform targeting KRAS-driven solid tumors for $1 billion.
- Represented AppViewX, a Haveli Investments portfolio company, in its add-on acquisition of Eos Cyber, a developer of AI-native identity security platforms.
- Advised Samsonite Group in its agreement to acquire BÉIS, the digitally native lifestyle and travel brand founded by actress Shay Mitchell, for approximately $210 million.
- Represented New Mountain Capital, an alternative investment firm:
- and its portfolio company Azuria Water Solutions in the acquisition of Waterline Renewal Technologies, a Behrman Capital portfolio company.
- in its $1.125 billion acquisition of SAM Company, a Managed Geospatial Services™ provider, with an additional $25 million post-closing earnout.
- Advised Stride Consumer Partners LLC, a growth equity investment firm focused on passion brands in consumer products and services, as lead investor in Crown Affair’s Series C funding round.
- Represented affiliates of American Industrial Partners in the acquisition of Honeywell Technologies’ warehouse and workflow solutions business Intelligrated.
