Chris Fons is an associate in the litigation and enforcement group based in Ropes & Gray’s Chicago office. He represents clients in civil litigation, as well as internal and government investigations. Chris works with a variety of clients, including private equity and investment firms, medical technology and health care companies, and other corporate clients. Chris also maintains an active pro bono practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Chris clerked for Judge Paul J. Kelly, Jr. on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and Judge Theresa Lazar Springmann on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.

While in law school, Chris interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina, where he worked on criminal appeals. He was also an online editor for the Duke Law Journal and a member of the Duke Law Innocence Project.
