Megan Lin Fernandez joined Ropes & Gray’s strategic transaction group in 2023. During law school, Megan was a Managing Editor for the Journal of Science & Technology Law, the Vice President of the First Generation Professionals, and a member of BU Law’s Technology Law Clinic. Additionally, Megan interned at a global financial services corporation and a major furniture and home goods retailer. Prior to law school, Megan attended Rollins College and graduated summa cum laude, with a B.A. in international relations and a minor in sociology.

- Advised Pixelle Specialty Solutions, a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital and leading high-end solutions provider in food and consumer packaging applications, in a definitive agreement to sell its Stevens Point, Wisconsin facility to Ahlstrom Oyj, a global leader in fiber-based specialty materials.
- Advised CIVC Partners in its majority investment in Strategus, a leading managed services provider for high-performance connected TV advertising campaigns.
- Advised Atavistik Bio in a research collaboration with Pfizer to accelerate discovery of novel precision allosteric therapeutics.
- Advised a pharmaceutical company in an agreement to acquire an innovative biotechnology company.
- Advised Cadre Holdings, Inc (“Cadre”), a global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of safety equipment and other related products for the law enforcement, first responder, military and nuclear markets, on a definitive agreement to acquire Carr’s Engineering Limited (excluding Chirton Engineering) and Carr's Engineering (US), Inc. (together the “Engineering Division”), each a subsidiary of Carr’s Group plc.
- Advised Qorvo, a provider of core technologies for radio frequency solutions, in the sale of its United Silicon Carbide subsidiary and the silicon carbide junction field-effect transistor (SiC JFET) technology business to sensing technology firm onsemi for $115 million in cash.
- Advised H.I.G. Capital and Thoma Bravo in a definitive agreement to acquire the brand and products of Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), a world-leading information technology certification and training business.
- Advised Monte Rosa Therapeutics in a global exclusive licensing agreement with Novartis to develop and commercialize a molecular glue degrader drug for immune-related diseases.
- Advised Sverica Capital Management in its strategic investment in Electronic Source Company, an electronic manufacturing services company serving the Aerospace & Defense and Space markets with high-reliability circuit card assemblies.
- Advised American Industrial Partners in its definitive agreement to acquire the U.S. and Canadian architectural coatings business of PPG, a global paints, coatings, and specialty materials leader.
- Advised Altamont Capital Partners in its sale of Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, an owner and operator of a chain of dine-in movie theaters, to a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Entertainment.
- Advised a pharmaceutical company in a strategic equity investment in a biotechnology research company, which included the grant of a 12-month right of first negotiation to explore collaboration and license opportunities.
- Advised Compass Diversified in its definitive agreement to partner with feminine care brand The Honey Pot Company for an enterprise value of $380 million.
- Advised various companies in connection with global trademark portfolio management, including Jones Snowboards and Bain Capital.
