Tim Fram is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s alternative asset opportunities practice group. Tim represents asset managers and institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and secondary buyers, in various transactional matters. Tim regularly advises clients on GP-led recapitalizations, secondaries, and co-investments.
In addition to his corporate work, Tim maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in fraud litigation, establishing non-profits, and handling tax filings. He also has experience with internal investigations.
During law school at Fordham University, Tim interned for the Securities and Exchange Commission and for the Honorable Vincent Papalia of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. He was a member of the Fordham Law Review and a Paul Fuller Scholar.
Prior to law school, Tim worked as a management consultant at Accenture, focusing on technology transformations.
