Naveed Ghasem

Naveed joined Ropes & Gray in 2019 as an associate in the firm’s asset management group and sits in the firm’s Boston office. He regularly advises private equity and other private investment fund clients on a variety matters, including the fund formation, fundraising, governance, operation, compliance and strategy. Naveed also has experience working with growth, buyout and co-investment funds and his clients range from emerging managers to global asset managers. Naveed’s practice is largely focused on fundraising, co-investments and continuation vehicle transactions. Naveed also has extensive pro bono experience assisting individuals apply for U.S. citizenship through his work with Project Citizenship.

Before joining the firm, Naveed externed with the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Massachusetts, worked as a research assistant to Professor Daniela Caruso and interned with the Honorable Rebecca R. Freyre in the Colorado Court of Appeals.
