Rohan Gandhi is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s private equity transactions group. He advises private equity funds, investors, and public and private companies on private equity transactions, investments, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate and securities law matters. Rohan has extensive experience guiding clients through all stages of private equity deals, including structuring, negotiation, execution, and advising on regulatory and compliance issues.
Before joining Ropes & Gray, Rohan was an associate at another large law firm, focusing on M&A and capital markets.
Rohan earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law, specializing in business law. He led several business law organizations on campus, serving as co-president of the Business Law Association and the Tax & Estate Planning Association, and as vice president of the Real Estate Law Association and the Law and Blockchain Association. Rohan has received several business law scholarships and awards and was selected as a research assistant to business law professors Andrew Verstein and Richard Hasen.
Prior to law school, Rohan graduated from Queen’s University with a business degree and worked for several years as a management consultant at a Big Four firm, gaining extensive experience in private equity and financial services.
