Taylor Gorman is an associate in the firm's private capital transactions group. He focuses his practice on representing private equity firms and strategic investors in a wide range of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, minority investments and divestitures across a broad range of industries. Taylor regularly advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on corporate governance, compliance, equity and general operational matters.
During law school, Taylor worked as an intern for the general counsel of a local SaaS company. He was also a member of the BU/MIT Startup Law Clinic (formerly known as the Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property Clinic) and advised MIT and Boston University based startups on a variety of formation and intellectual property issues. Additionally, he was a member of Boston University's Review of Banking and Finance Law. Prior to law school, Taylor worked as a paralegal for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Massachusetts.
