Hui Huang joined Ropes & Gray in 2025 as an associate in the firm’s corporate department in Boston. Before joining Ropes & Gray, Hui began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Broward County, Florida. She later earned an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center and joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as an associate in the Global Structuring Financial Services Group. In her role at PwC, Hui advised sovereign wealth funds and private equity firms on international tax planning.
During law school, Hui served as executive editor of the University of Miami International and Comparative Law Review. She interned for a judge on the Florida Eleventh Circuit Court and externed at both the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Northern District of Florida and the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office. Hui was also president of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA), vice president of the Honor Council, and a teaching assistant for constitutional law classes.
