Jessica joined Ropes & Gray’s corporate department in 2024.
During law school, Jessica was a legal intern for the Cardozo Tech Startup Clinic, where she assisted with advising emerging companies on corporate governance, financing, and intellectual property matters. She also served on the editorial board of the Cardozo Law Review as an articles editor and was co-president of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
Prior to law school, Jessica worked in user acquisition and programmatic advertising.
Experience
- Represented EQT Private Equity alongside CPP Investments in their acquisition of Neogov, a human capital management and public safety solutions provider, from Warburg Pincus and Carlyle.
- Represented Leonard Green & Partners in a definitive agreement to acquire a 60% interest in Topgolf and Toptracer from Topgolf Callaway Brands Corp.
- Represented TSG Consumer Partners in its strategic growth investment of DUDE Wipes, a personal hygiene company recognized for its flushable wipes.
- Represented TPG's Rise Funds in their majority investment in Trustwell, a leading provider of SaaS-based regulatory, compliance, and traceability solutions for the food industry.
- Represented Anastasia Beverly Hills, an iconic cosmetics company, in a fully consensual recapitalization. The transaction was supported by all of the company’s shareholders and lenders, significantly reduced the company’s debt, and strengthened the company’s balance sheet through a $225 million equity investment from founder and CEO Anastasia Soare.
- Represented Fisica, a portfolio company of Kanders & Company, in connection with the financing for its acquisition of Space Vector, a provider of high-reliability radio frequency avionics and battery systems.
