Joseph Herriges joined Ropes & Gray's corporate department in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, Joseph was an associate in the corporate and mergers and acquisitions team of the Milwaukee office of a national law firm. Joseph’s practice focuses on advising institutional and strategic investors, primarily private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, in a varying range of corporate transactions, including stock and asset acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, mergers, and equity investments, recapitalizations and other similar matters. Joseph works with clients on large-cap and middle market deals across a broad spectrum of industries, including financial and professional services, defense, technology, healthcare, and manufacturing.

  • Represented McNally Capital in various transactions, including its acquisition of Xcelerate Solutions, a defense and national security company, and the sale of The Re-Sourcing Group, a provider of staffing, consulting, and direct hire solutions, to MidOcean Partners.
  • Represented Cressey & Company in connection with its sale of People, Pets & Vets, an operator of veterinary hospitals, to VetCor, a Harvest Partners portfolio company.
  • Represented BV Investment Partners in various transactions, including its acquisition of CallTower, a global telecommunication services company and its sale of Frontline, a global provider of tech-enabled, business process outsourcing solutions for law and accounting firms.
  • Represented Audax Group in its acquisition of DISA Global Solutions, a global tech-enabled provider of employee screening, compliance, and workplace health & safety solutions.
  • Represented CIVC Partners in its acquisition of Industrial Networking Solutions, a leader in designing, delivering, and managing critical industrial networks.
  • Advised co-investor private equity funds in the acquisition of a large national insurance wholesale company.
  • Advised U.S. portfolio company in the acquisition of a U.S. data infrastructure business.

  • Represented global product manufacturer in series of acquisitions of privately held electric motor component and instrument manufacturers.
  • Represented regional roofing fabricator in its sale to a U.S. private equity fund.
  • Advised shareholder group in the sale of regional air cargo business to a U.S. private equity fund.
  • Represented entity in divestiture of national retail storage business to a U.S. private equity fund.
  • Represented U.K. based generator and power supply company in U.S. strategic acquisition.
