Matt Hutchinson joined Ropes & Gray’s corporate department in 2024. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Matt was a private equity associate in the Chicago office of another leading international law firm.
Matt primarily represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on structuring and negotiating complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures of public and private companies. Matt’s practice also involves advising on GP-led secondary transactions, corporate restructurings and corporate governance matters.
