Rebecca Hayes is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s litigation and enforcement practice group. Rebecca focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes, federal securities litigation and internal investigations. She also represents companies in SEC inquiries. She has experience representing public and private companies, financial institutions, as well as directors and officers in disputes brought in state and federal courts. Rebecca maintains an active pro bono practice as Ropes & Gray’s family law co-lead, representing clients in divorce and custody disputes. 

Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Rebecca worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Ojetta Rogeriee Thompson in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and as a teaching assistant for Professor Cheryl Bratt. Rebecca also served as a senior editor of the Boston College Law Review, and as a board member of the Public Interest Law Foundation.
