Shan Huang is counsel in the private equity transactions group of Ropes & Gray and a registered foreign lawyer in the Hong Kong office.

Shan has extensive experience in advising major private equity and corporate clients on M&A transactions and joint ventures across a broad range of sectors, particularly those with a China nexus. 

Shan has also spent time on secondment to Baring Private Equity Asia (currently known as BPEA EQT following combination with EQT) in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Shan worked at a leading international law firm in its Hong Kong office, and a leading Chinese law firm in its Beijing office.
