Sabrina Kim joined Ropes & Gray’s New York office in 2024, and works in the corporate department, focusing on intellectual property transactions.
Sabrina received her JD from Fordham Law and her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania. During law school, Sabrina served as the managing editor of the Dispute Resolution Society, and she was a staff member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal. Sabrina spent her first summer of law school as a legal intern at a Forbes Cloud 100 tech decacorn.
Prior to law school, Sabrina was an associate at a leading management consulting firm focusing on strategy for clients in the life sciences industry.
Experience
- Represented EQT Private Equity in connection with its acquisition of NEOGOV, a software company providing cloud-based HR and compliance solutions to public sector organizations.
- Represented TPG in connection with an agreement to acquire from AT&T the remaining 70% stake in DIRECTV that it does not already own.
- Represented Harvest Partners, LP in an acquisition of The Learning Experience, an operator of preschool and daycare centers.
- Represented Audax Private Equity, a capital partner to middle market companies, in its majority stake investment in Lanter Delivery Systems, a provider of overnight, time sensitive delivery services for the automotive, agriculture, and industrial sectors.
- Represented Eli Lilly in an agreement to acquire Scorpion Therapeutics, immediately following a spin-off of non-core Scorpion assets.
- Represented a global pharmaceutical company in an exclusive option and license agreement with a clinical-stage biotechnology partner to develop and commercialize a novel class of oral cancer drugs with broad oncology treatment potential, including breast cancer and other solid tumors.
- Represented a medical technology company in the completion of its carve-out sale of its business in the neuro-musculoskeletal space.
