Maria is an associate in Ropes & Gray's litigation and enforcement practice group. She is based in Washington, D.C.
During law school, Maria was a law clerk on the Senate Judiciary Committee and at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. At Georgetown Law, Maria received the Associate Dean’s Award for Excellence in Clinic for her work with the Social Enterprise & Nonprofit Law Clinic, and the Milton A. Kaufman prize as managing editor of The Georgetown Law Journal.
Previously, Maria was an award-winning elementary and special education teacher in Title I public schools in New York City and Washington, D.C. She holds a master’s degree in education from Hunter College and studied business, design, and ethics at Bentley University.
