Thera Lee is a law clerk in the intellectual property transactions practice group. Thera earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where she received certificates in both Corporate and Intellectual Property Law, while working as a technical advisor at Ropes & Gray.
Prior to joining the firm, she earned her Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities), where her research on T cell development helped define the distinct functional roles of hematopoietic and stromal antigen-presenting cells in the thymus. During her doctoral studies, she interned at the University of Minnesota Office of Technology Commercialization, where she assisted managers in conducting patent searches and assessing the commercialization potential of new technologies. Thera's research experience also includes work as a technician at Emory University, where she contributed to studies on HIV/SIV pathogenesis and cure.
