Andrew is a partner in the firm’s business restructuring group. Debtors, creditors, sponsors, and investors turn to him for his seasoned judgment on high-stakes Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

Andrew brings deep experience with precedent-shaping restructurings and complex cross-border filings across industries. He acted as counsel to Momentive Performance Materials in its landmark Chapter 11 cases and worked with Core Media (the owner of American Idol) in its complex cross-border filing. He was also a member of the team that advised Aegerion Pharmaceuticals in its successful reorganization, which was nominated for The Deal's Restructuring Deal of the Year.

Andrew is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has published several articles on groundbreaking restructuring issues. He began his legal career as a law intern to the Honorable Robert E. Gerber of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

  • Represented Rue21, Inc., a specialty fashion retailer operating more than 500 retail locations nationwide, and its affiliated debtors in their chapter 11 cases, including going-out-of-business sales at all retail locations, the liquidation of inventory and other assets, and the sale of the company’s intellectual property.*
  • Represented Near Intelligence, Inc., a data intelligence company providing real-world consumer behavior analytics, and its affiliated debtors in their chapter 11 cases, filed to address approximately $100 million in funded debt, including a court-supervised sale of substantially all assets, confirmation of a liquidity chapter 11 plan, and the establishment of a litigation trust to pursue estate causes of action for the benefit of stakeholders.*
  • Represented Clovis Oncology, Inc. and certain of its affiliates in their chapter 11 cases filed to address over $750 million in debt, facilitate two 363 sale transactions, and negotiate and consummate a liquidating chapter 11 plan.*
  • Represented Global Brands Group, Inc. and certain of its affiliates in their chapter 11 cases filed to address over $238 million of funded debt, facilitate multiple 363 sale transactions of various licensed brands, and negotiate and consummate a liquidating chapter 11 plan.*
  • Represented Glansaol Holdings Inc., a beauty consumer products company, and its affiliated debtors in its section 363 bankruptcy sale and in connection with its chapter 11 cases.*
  • Represented Mondee Holdings, Inc. and certain of its affiliates in their chapter 11 cases in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, filed to address approximately $250 million in funded debt through a court-supervised sale of substantially all assets implemented pursuant to a restructuring support agreement and investigate potential claims and causes of action.*
  • Represented Accelerate Diagnostics, Inc. and its affiliates in their chapter 11 cases in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, including a court-supervised sale of substantially all assets and a structured wind-down of remaining operations.*
  • Represented Dynata, LLC and certain of its affiliates in their prepackaged chapter 11 cases in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware which resulted in a 40% reduction of approximately $1.3 billion of debt and $81.5 million of new money financing. The case emerged from chapter 11 in five weeks.*
  • Represented Total Safety in its out-of-court restructuring of approximately $485 million in secured debt. The restructuring was unanimously approved by the first and second lien lenders of Total Safety, allowing Total Safety to restructure without the need for a chapter 11 filing.*
  • Represented CORE Media Group, Inc., an owner, producer and developer of entertainment content, including the American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance brands of shows, and 47 of its affiliates (“CORE”) in connection with their chapter 11 bankruptcy cases for the Honorable Stuart M. Bernstein in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.*
  • Represented Momentive Performance Materials, Inc., a maker of silicone and quartz products, and certain affiliates (“MPM”) in connection with their chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.*
  • Represented Rural/Metro Corporation, the largest U.S. ambulance and related services provider, in its balance sheet restructuring through a chapter 11 process.*
  • Represented Proserv Group LLC in its multijurisdictional, comprehensive out-of-court restructuring.*
  • Represented RG Steel, LLC (a subsidiary of Renco Group), a steel manufacturer, in its chapter 11 cases and orderly wind-down, which included an expedited sales process for three major steel facilities and ancillary production assets, consensual termination of collective bargaining agreements and significant litigation.*
