Kathrine Marous joined Ropes & Gray in 2024 as an associate in the firm’s employment, executive compensation and employee benefits group. Kathrine advises clients on the complex executive compensation and employee benefits aspects of corporate acquisitions, dispositions, mergers and executive transitions. She also counsels public and private companies with respect to the design, drafting, and operation of equity and incentive compensation programs and the administration and compliance of employee benefit plans, programs and arrangements with the Internal Revenue Code and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). Kathrine also has experience drafting employment agreements, retention agreements, separation agreements and documentation related to the golden parachute payment tax implications of executive compensation arrangements.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, she was an associate in the executive compensation and employee benefits group of another leading global law firm.
