Lauren is an associate in Ropes & Gray's finance group, based in the New York office. Lauren's practice focuses on leveraged finance and acquisition financing transactions, where she represents lenders, private credit funds, institutional investors, and corporate borrowers. Her experience spans senior secured, second lien, unitranche, and mezzanine credit facilities, as well as syndicated institutional loans, intercreditor arrangements, and related collateral documentation. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Lauren gained significant transactional experience at a global law firm, where she represented investment firms and public and private companies in connection with leveraged financings, mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, and corporate governance matters, including a secondment to a leading global alternative asset manager.
During law school, Lauren served as President of the Harvard Black Law Students Association, where she was recognized with a Chapter Leader of the Year award for the Northeast Region and the Harvard Law School Award for Community Leadership.

- Southfield Capital in connection with its majority investment in Metric Search, Ltd., a leading specialized provider of talent solutions and human capital placement services for niche, high-growth sectors including MedTech, life sciences, engineering, and data centers. The transaction represented Southfield's third platform investment from its flagship fund, Southfield Capital IV.*
- On Deck Sports, a portfolio company of M Mountain Capital, in its acquisition of Beacon Athletics and Aer-Flo Sports from BA Holdco, Inc., expanding its position as a leading manufacturer and installer of sports training facilities.*
- A leading global alternative asset manager and a major growth equity firm in connection with the formation and raising of funds for private equity growth expansion funds.*
- Public and private companies in merger and acquisition transactions in deals upwards of $13 billion.*
- A major leisure travel company in multi-billion-dollar strategic financing transactions.*
