Michael Miata is an associate within the firm’s corporate department, practicing in the real estate investments and transactions group. Michael regularly works with private equity funds, mortgage REITs, institutional investors, and developers across a broad range of complex commercial real estate matters.
His practice encompasses acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, secured financings, preferred equity investments and repurchase facilities. Michael advises clients at every stage of a transaction’s lifecycle – from initial structuring and letter of intent through negotiation, documentation and closing.
During law school, Michael served as a judicial intern within the New York State Supreme Court, Commercial Division.
