Robin Morgan joined Ropes & Gray’s New York office in 2022 and practices in the tax, employment, and benefits group.
Robin graduated with a master’s in law and a doctorate in law from Harvard Law School, where he was a John M. Olin Fellow of Law and Economics. His studies focused on tax law, public economics, and finance, with his dissertation focusing on the taxation of complex financial instruments. While at Harvard, Robin interned at the World Bank, and his research was awarded the John M. Olin prize for Law and Economics as well as the Sidney I. Roberts Prize in the Field of Taxation.
Robin holds a JD and BCL from McGill University (Dean’s Honours), where he was a recipient of the J.W. McConnell Scholarship, the Maurice Weinberg Scholarship, the Gualtieri-Doran Scholarship, and the John W. Cook K.C. Prize. Prior to law school, Robin studied mathematics and physics.
Robin’s scholarship has appeared in several peer reviewed journals, including the Tax Law Review, the Florida Tax Law Review, and the Law and Economics Yearly Review.
